Sunshine Umbrellas Project
Sunshine Umbrellas is a premium umbrella manufacturer and retailer dedicated to providing customers with high-quality products that combine functionality, durability, and style. The company has built its reputation on delivering reliable solutions tailored to different needs and preferences while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. The brand positions itself as a market leader by focusing on quality, consistency, and value, offering products that customers can depend on regardless of the weather.
As part of this project, I was responsible for developing the visual identity of the brand from the ground up, including the logo design and the creation of a custom brand illustration. The project was completed within the scope of my work for iMobilize.
Logo Development

Development of the Brand Illustration
To support the visual identity, a large-scale hero illustration was created as a key branding element. The objective was to design an image that captured the cheerful, vibrant, and positive personality of Sunshine Umbrellas while extending the visual language beyond the logo itself.
The illustration process began with hand-drawn sketches used to explore composition, storytelling, and the overall atmosphere of the scene. Multiple concepts were developed before selecting the strongest direction. Once the composition was established, the illustration was rebuilt digitally as vector artwork, allowing every element to be carefully crafted, refined, and scaled without loss of quality.
The artwork was created entirely from scratch, with each component individually designed and integrated into the final composition. Colours, shapes, textures, and visual details were developed progressively, transforming the original sketch into a rich and engaging illustration. Particular attention was given to creating depth, movement, and visual balance while maintaining a playful and approachable character.
The final illustration successfully communicates the optimism and energy of the Sunshine Umbrellas brand. Through the use of vibrant colours, detailed vector artwork, and carefully constructed visual storytelling, the image creates a memorable brand experience while helping the company stand apart from typical industry expectations.
